Well, we had a DVDTalk meet in the line at Hall H. Jackskeleton, Suprmallet, Adam Tyner and myself. It was nice meeting Adam for the first time and it has been 5 or 6 six years since seeing Jack. Sorry for leaving abruptly but totally spaced out when I wanted to leave. Maybe we can all meet up on Sunday.

Was it just me or was that main exhibit floor particularly awful with crowds yesterday? It felt more like Saturday than Thursday, so now I'm a little bit worried. I was unfortunately sandwiched next to "bo guy" for a while and unable to maneuver around him because it was so packed in there.

I really enjoyed the Showtime's "Our Heroes have more Fun panel" with most of the nerdy questions devoted to questions to either David Duchovny or Michael C. Hall. I haven't seen the last season of Dexter, so I tried my best to avoid spoilers up until the last audience question, which ruined the secret about a particular character. Also, the writer for Nurse Jackie was a hoot, and she even had some of the same mannerisms and as Jackie (and even sounded like Edie Falco), which was fun to watch.

Doh! I missed this outside yesterday! Fred Phelps could easily have joined the zombie walk, sans makeup.

Yay, looks like I'll be going tomorrow. Got the hook up from some guy who runs the Con and apparently whatever we want to go see, he can just get us in without waiting in lines :)

Too bad I wanted to go Thursday and meet Bruce Willis :(

Sorry for the shadow but this was the only decent shot I was able to get of Angelina as she was leaving. I think she was looking right at me :D

SAN DIEGO — A stabbing Saturday night in a packed auditorium at the Comic-Con International pop culture convention temporarily brought the presentation of some of the most highly anticipated films to a halt.

The incident in Hall H at the San Diego Convention Center occurred minutes before Universal Pictures was to present panels on two upcoming films — its sci-fi adventure Paul and Jon Favreau's Cowboys & Aliens.

Witnesses said that a scuffle broke out between two men in their mid-20s over a seat near the center of the auditorium and one of the men was stabbed in the eye.

Security personnel rushed to the auditorium as attendees stood on their seats to watch. Organizers pleaded with the capacity crowd to take their seats as guards and medics cleared the scene.

Convention officials started a roll of trailers to a chorus of boos from the spectators, some of whom had waited overnight in line to see the panels.

The day was to be one of the biggest for the convention, hosting films for major comics publishers Marvel (Thor, Captain America) and DC Comics (Green Lantern).

Organizers expected the panels to be delayed at least an hour after the early evening incident, but the presentation resumed at about 5:30 PT.

"I've been coming to Comic-Con for nine years and never saw anything like it," says Albert Esparza, 33, of Los Angeles.

Esparza says he was sitting a couple of rows in front of the fracas when he felt "everybody kind of move forward. Then there was a lot of yelling."

Esparza says he turned to see a man's face in profile, covered in blood. Another attendee grabbed the assailant and held him until security arrived, Esparza said.

"I don't know what would have happened if someone didn't step in," he says. "You don't think of people going off here because we're at Comic-Con for the same reason. But tempers were really fired up."

Identities of the victim and assailant have not been released.

San Diego Police Sgt. Gary Mondesir said, "Two males got into a dispute and one male stabbed the other male with a pen around the eye socket. Paramedics arrived almost immediately and took the victim to the University of California/San Diego hospital. The suspect was taken away.

"We had officers inside the convention center and they were there relatively quickly, and citizens had actually detained the suspect," said Mondesir.

Epic night in Hall H.

1) The "stabbing" that was already mentioned.
2) Harrison Ford shows up for the first time ever. Crowd goes NUTS.
3) The ENTIRE cast and director of The Avengers movie shows up. Even the just announced new guys.
4) During Kevin Smith panel, dude proposes to his girlfriend whom he met at Con last year. Kevin not only suggests they should marry next year at Con but he's an ordained minister and should perform the ceremony.

Now they're probably going to ban pens now. Can you imagine what chaos that's going to bring?

VERY successful day for me at the Con today. Found/got everything I was looking for. Including completing a 14 year quest to get all the Simpsons personalized drawn for me by Matt Groening (took me 10 years to get the Lisa Simpson to complete the family!).

THANK YOU MATT GROENING and THANK YOU BONGO COMICS!

For those that want to see Harrison Ford's first ever Comic-Con appearance. As usual, the applause in the room was much louder than on the video.
