I'll say it because it gets a bad rap, but the long cut of Heaven's Gate is completely underrated. It's a tale of a man's life without pretension.

Hands down the best western ever. Greatest villain in a Western. Greatest reveal as to why bad guy must die. Greatest everything.

It's the most artistic and epic western you'll ever get. Damn, I love that final shootout.
