Maybe not totally A list, but i thought Leo Howard off the back of playing Young Conan in the Conan remake and the tv show Kickin it with his great martial arts skills would have a decent movie career

Alice Eve. Crossing Over, She's Out of My League, Sex and the City 2, Men in Black 3 and Star Trek: Into the Darkness. Now, she's starring in long delayed, crappy genre fare like The Con is On and Replicas.

Not that her career is doing awful,but after her Oscar nom a decade ago I thought Carey Mulligan would be bigger then she ended up . Basically her less talented countrywomen Felicity Jones/Gemma Arteton carved out a path I thought she was headed too, making big money moving btwn Period Piece Biopic's and Mega Budget action flicks and somewhat known quantities to the public. Despite the success of Great Gatsby either due to lack of offers or interest there hasn't really been any big Hollywood film since then.

He's been a steadily working actor for 40+ years, but I thought coming off Rocky IV and then getting a role in Predator and the lead in the Joel Silver produced Action Jackson, he would have exploded and become an A-list action star.
Instead his resume over the last 30 years is mostly TV and low budget movies.
