Near Dark (Very hard choice but I consider American Psycho to be a comedy. Both are great though.)
Dawn of the Dead '04 (Easily. Wrong turn should not be on here.)
Se7en (Easily, although I dont know if I would say its horror.)
Invasion of the Body Snatchers '78
The Bride of Frankenstein
Silent Hill (Dont care much for either but Silent Hill is visually interesting.)
Signs (by a small margin.)
The Birds
The Howling
Dawn of the Dead '04 (Easily. Wrong turn should not be on here.)
Se7en (Easily, although I dont know if I would say its horror.)

Matchup #1 - Near Dark - Not a close one, I'm not as big a fan of AP as others here are.
Matchup #2 - Dawn of the Dead '04 - Easy one. A worthy remake.
Matchup #3 - The Lost Boys - Eek, this was tough. I love Se7en, but how can I vote against The Lost Boys?
Matchup #4 - Invasion of the Body Snatchers '78 - A remake that tops the original.
Matchup #5 - ABSTAIN - Never saw IWwaZ.
Matchup #6 - Silent Hill - Not a great movie, but I hated Suspiria.
