Trying to remember the name of a horror movie reviewed on AOTS

I think it was Wednesday's episode of Attack of the Show when they had some guy on who reviewed/recommended a few horror films. One was Dance of the Dead, but I'm trying to remember the first film he talked about. I believe it was a one word title, but I could be wrong. Did anyone catch this episode and know what I'm talking about?

I believe the movie you're looking for is called Splinter.

You're welcome

I don't know if I like that it was on Sci-Fi. Movies and Sci-Fi haven't mixed well for me yet. I'm just in the mood for some decent horror...I just finished watching The Mist again and liked it much more than I remember from seeing it in the theater.
Spoiler:
I could have swore I remember Andre Braugher's character being one of the survivors in the truck at the end, but I guess not.

I saw Splinter a few weeks back. I went in with low expectations and found myself just sucked right into it. I wound up really liking it.

i just thought the camera was too chaotic and didn't fixate on the gore as much as i would have liked. it isn't like the gore is implied, it is right there in full glory, but the quick cuts and pan aways detract from the enjoyment of seemingly good effects. Shea Whigham is what makes the movie though.

Me, too. It reminded me of The Thing.
