He is his top choice. Whether or not it will happen who knows.

I've no feeling against Smith as actor but I really want somebody else in it. If it is Smith, he's going to have to really amp up his skills to play Django..cuz that is a beaten character for sure.

The true travesty of the trailer is not so much its size and extravagance (which is a Hollywood/movie star standard) but the fact that Smith probably doesn't/didn't even spend that much time in it.

I read an article that stated he wasn't using it that much, because he's renting an apartment just 2 blocks away.

The most entertaining thing that happened when I saw the awful MIBII was the firecracker someone let off in the theater. But I have such deep affection for the first one that I'll give this chance. It thought it was a well cut, efficient trailer - especially that stinger at the end - and I guess the best thing I can say is that it didn't make me NOT want to see the movie.

Got to love the fact that after a discussion about a trailer months ago, a new thread bump occurs...for a trailer!

Cause they're both, ya know, trailers. :)

I like the trailer (preview of the movie one). I just hope it's as fun as it looks.

Brolin at the end looked great.

This trailer is already better than MIB II. Looking forward to this.

Well, it certainly can't be any worse than part II. That trailer actually made it look decent.

Doesn't look half bad. I'm kinda miffed that Jones is essentially a cameo. One of the worst things about the second one (aside from the script) is that it focused too much on Smith and we were therefore left without a straight man to react to Smith's goofy antics. Hopefully Brolin fills that void.

Get used to that, sport.

But based on this teaser, it looks like they may focus more on K, which is a good thing. I had a scary thought they might have tried to go back in time to when Will Smith was a kid and bring his own stupid kid into this movie.

That's MIVB.

On one hand we have a lame time travel plot, on the other hand while Tommy Lee Jones is likely to have a small role, he's being replaced by Josh Brolin.

I agree it will probably at least be better than MIB 2.

You are not far from the truth. I've seen a rough cut already.

Was this shot with 3D cameras or yet another post-conversion?

IIRC, it is a post conversion. (Especially with all the reshoots this thing has had. There wasn't much in the way of 3D other than Nicole Scherzinger's titties. :p A few gags, but nothing that warranted 3D.

He will be the best part of this movie, calling it now.

I'm looking forward to it since I'm a fan of the franchise but the trailer didn't really do anything for me. Left me kind of like "eh".

Not a fan of this series and this just looks to be more of the same, though Josh Brolin is a nice addition to the cast.
