First movie that popped into my head was Garbo Talks. I love that damn movie.

Ron Silver was always the "poor man's" Al Pacino to me (and I mean that will all respect). My favorite memory of Ron is going to be in the (very) short lived FOX drama SKIN:

"His FATHER is the DISTRICT ATTORNEY!!!" (say it like Al, and you'll have an idea of how Ron delivered this line).

That is so funny that is the exact show and line I was thinking of when I clicked this tread. 62 is way to young to go.

Come on, it was a good escapist movie, not perfect, but I've actually seen it 2 or 3 times, which is 1 or 2 more times than I see 99% of all movies I see.

See?

He gave one of the greatest performances ever in Enemies, A Love Story. Too bad he seems to be known mostly for minor performances.

Although his poor man's Al Pacino is better than this century's Al Pacino.

Yeah, that was a fantastic movie that seems to have been largely forgotten now.

Re: RIP: Actor Ron Silver dies at 62

Can't believe he's gone.

Thought he was great as the skeptical pychiatrist in The Entity, one of the scariest movies I've ever seen. And of course as the Jewish defence lawyer to Jeremy Irons patrician murder suspect in Reversal of Fortune amongst other things.
