DC Animated - Superman/Batman: Public Enemies
"Superman/Batman: Public Enemies" is slated for release in fall 2009 by Warner Bros. animation.
The movie will be based on a story arc of the comic book "Superman/Batman," as written by Jeff Loeb and drawn by Ed McGuinness. According to a release, "United States President Lex Luthor uses the oncoming trajectory of a kryptonite asteroid to frame Superman and declare a $1 billion bounty on the heads of the Man of Steel and his 'partner in crime' Batman. Super heroes and super villains alike launch a relentless pursuit of Superman and Batman, who must unite – and recruit super help – to stave off the action-packed onslaught, stop the asteroid, and uncover Luthor’s devious plot to take command of far more than North America." http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g3...own44/sbpe.jpg |

Cool. Do they fight John Dillinger and Bonnie & Clyde in this? Does Johnny Depp make a cameo appearance?

I'd love it if this one had a score as epic as Wonder Woman. |

Awesome! Thought this was a great storyline!

Re: DC Animated - Superman/Batman: Public Enemies
hell mother fucking yeah! keep on cranking out batman/superman animated flicks. just as long as they aren't as shitty as superman: doomsday, then i'll be happy.

I thought Superman Doomsday was just fine. DC movies have gotten weaker lately, but I'm still down for this.

Re: DC Animated - Superman/Batman: Public Enemies
It seems as though DC and Marvel's animated fare has gone in opposite directions quality wise. Marvel has gotten better and better while DC, not so much.

Re: DC Animated - Superman/Batman: Public Enemies
Really, other than the lackluster Superman: Doomsday and the shitfest that was Batman: Gotham Knight, the DC films have been great. I think both the Marvel and DC films have been quite solid lately.
I do wish Marvel would release a sequel to Next Avengers. |

A, yes, I forgot about that one. Good as a time waster but not much else. But I don't count that as one of the DC films since it was not done with Bruce Timm and I don't think it was a Warner Premier release. But, overall, it is one of three bad DC animated features.

on it's own, and if it was DCs first animated feature...maybe. as it stands when you have stuff out there like Justice League: new frontier...no, it's not. |

indeed...

Re: DC Animated - Superman/Batman: Public Enemies
Good news! Anybody have infromation on the voice talent? I assume I'm hoping for too much if I expect Daly and Conroy.
|
Re: DC Animated - Superman/Batman: Public Enemies
I doubt it'll be those two as it's been done already in the animated series crossover. I'm curious who they'll pick for the two leads and Luthor. Spike was really great in Superman: Doomsday.

Re: DC Animated - Superman/Batman: Public Enemies
I keep waiting for/wondering what happened to Teen Titans:The Judas Contract - which was announced a year or two ago with all the other animated movies that have already come out?
