I honestly don't see all of the hate for it, or Jeph Loeb, and while we're on the subject of comic writers, Chris Claremont.

I've never heard any hatred against Claremont. Actually, he is still praised for his work on X-Men since he gave us a lot of classic stories. The only writers I continue to see lambasted on a monthly basis are Loeb, Grant Morrison, and Liefeld.

so lex builds this kick ass suit and leaves his face totally unprotected

of course no one takes advantage of that

Which lesser known characters?

Captain Atom, Starfire, Power Girl and Black Lightning are pretty well known and have a long history in the comic book industry. Major Force has been a semi decent villain and the rest of the villains are also pretty well known.

ok, lesser known to someone that isn't a total DC junkie
I'm not saying they needed to have only A list know to everyone characters but a few more recognizable characters (to the comic layman like me) would have been nice

I thought it was great. One of their best releases. As far as other Superman/Batman stories I would love to see Girl from Krypton and the Search for Kryptonite.

forgot I had seen this already and put it in my netflix queue and got it today
still enjoying it but I have some more thoughts
batman and superman looked way too much alike facial feature wise when batman takes his mask off

power girl complaining about toy man (Imissed that he was called that the first time I watched it, possibly due to not knowing the character prior to seeing him on smallville) checking her out yet she wears a costume that hangs her tits out for the world to see

was the plane batman flew to Japan the batwing? why was it in the hanger at lex's compound?

they can create wormholes, why not create one to make the meteor jump through earth like in that one episode of SG1?

the first time I watched I missed that Allison Mack was doing power girl's voice

I'm pretty sure that they modeled that suit after his Superpowers figure. At least, it looked like it to me.
