At least Jai Courtney has badass sniper experience thanks to Jack Reacher but I feel that Tom Hardy as Blockbuster is redundant since he was Bane in TDKR.
Still dislike the casting of Eisenberg and Robbie as Lex Luthor and Harley Quinn.

The picture they used is the first image that pops up when I type "Rick Flag" into Google. I'm sure they did the same thing when they created that collage.

Yes, that is what Suicide Squad is is an all-villain team. The government uses them for high risk black-ops missions. Have you been watching the Arrow TV series? Suicide Squad has been on that show a few times.

I think so, but I don't recall clearly.
I think after Waller explained to Oliver and Diggle what the team was, then Deadshot made a sarcastic comment about them being a "suicide squad."
Season 2 episode 16 was titled Suicide Squad as well.

Edit to add: Yep. I was correct. Here is a clip of Deadshot calling them Suicide Squad:

Michael Jai White. Ooooh.
That just got my interest in the show again. I'm done w/ Gotham and Flash. Just... poor cliche storytelling. Arrow has had me popping in and out but I dunno. Maybe it's cuz I don't watch much of anything from network TV but do all shows have to hit their super generic beats for them to keep going?

Re: Suicide Squad (WB/DC) - News, Rumors, Cast, etc.
Just watched the Suicide Squad episodes....eh. I think I'm done with it too. I admire this and Flash's ambitions but it falls short for me. I don't think it really attempts to do much of anything new. It does intrigue cuz of Wells. Which is something SHIELD does. That is attractive but... I'm just unimpressed.
I'll watch Mad Men and Breaking Bad, which I've still seen very little of but what I have was pretty good. Bob's Burger's. Parks and Rec when it was still going. Ditto for Community. I tolerate Agents of SHIELD.... but I've some issues w/ that too. That show is so up and down in doing something w/ its storytelling. Palicki is nice though. I don't really know her but she easily has the most enjoyable presence for the female side of the cast. Coulson is Coulson, so I don't mind him. But May gets boring. Skye, Fitz, and Simmons should die. They're wildly generic. Oddly enough Antoine Triplett and Mack are really cool guys and actually add something to the show.
I hope Agent Carter is good. I like that world and character... so I hope good things are done for her.

I agree about Skye. Shes not quite as annoying as last season but she still serves basically no purpose save for other characters to fawn over how awesome she is. Fitz is whatever but Simmons I dont mind. May is just dull and one note but she fills the quotient for female badass, or so they keep telling us.

No big news, but according to Production Weekly, filming begins in mid-April, in Toronto so we could see some more casting news...

Yeah, I too hope that is not the look they go for. Harley is a crazy bitch but she should be lovable. That's what's great about her. Complete psycho bitch but she manages to be cute and lovable all at the same time.
I get that cosplay is inspired on her Arkham City look but they made it go from passable to downright ugly.

While not a fan this look... it does fit her personality for the Squad.
I did kind of dig her Arkham City look. Not TOO sexualized but still very much her own style.

Which isn't Harley at all.
This is Harley.

The only time Harley should have a resting bitch face is back when she was Dr. Harleen Quinzel.

Even Assault on Arkham managed to tow the line between lovable cutie and total psycho bitch.

Re: Suicide Squad (WB/DC) - News, Rumors, Cast, etc.
Well, it's cosplay, so there are no rules. I don't know that her overall perkiness and psycho fun attitude will translate well onscreen if DC is really going for that "dark" edge. We'll see since this is David Ayer directing and he's never let me down yet.
