Wait they actually have to see all of the movies? :) Out of curiosity, is this a requirement in all categories? (I hope)

I think he put a muzzle on because he didn't want it to ruin his chances for winning. At least, that's what I read on the dirt sheets, so take it for what it's worth.

After Boyle and Slumdog win for Director and Picture, that'll give me 18. If Winslet and Penn win, I'll have 20 picks. Which would be my highest ever. Of course, this year wasn't difficult to predict.

they include all these obscure people we've never heard of, and yet they still couldn't put Brad renfro in last years' montage

Sadly, I don't think so. Kinda pathetic for something as big as the Oscars, no?

Do you guys have all this hate for Slumdog because of it's popularity? I'm guessing half of the haters in here would love the film if it wasn't so critically acclaimed and had no nominations. Or are you just deflecting your anger towards Slumdog bc The Dark Knight wasn't nominated for Best Pic?

I thought the same thing after seeing that shitbox of a trailer, but the reviews are very good so I'll be seeing it at some point. The marketers need to be shot for that crap.
