As for a Jaws remake... I'm having a hard time thinking of a worse idea. I'd rather see Meg, personally.

I say they can go ahead and make a Jaws remake IF the characters talked more like they did in the novel. They are sailer's ya know...We had to read a chapter of this in my high school film/lit class and it was obvious the teacher did not read what she gave us to read cause every other word in the chapter we had to read was "cocksucker". Also I remember the guys talking about the sharks penis. Dont remember that in Spielberg's version.

I'm dying to see a MEG movie. Jurassic Shark. With a good script that would be one of the best shark movies ever.

I know the idea of a surviving megalodon would scare the hell out of me if it happened for real.

As for Jaws, that's a movie that should NEVER be remade. It isn't perfect, but it's perfect. Meaning - there are some techincal things that could be done better, but as far as the script, direction and acting go it is absolutely perfect and could not be done better, or nearly as well in all likelihood.

A sequel? I sure would like to see one more Jaws movie to take the bad taste of Jaws: The Revenge away... (Assuming it's a good movie.)
