I don't know if this has been mentioned yet or not but is RR gonna include a "faux trailer" before Machete? The idea of fake trailers has gone beyond grindhouse now and they have done them with popular and profitable movies like Tropic Thunder, so maybe he can do one with Machete that might lead to another film in the future. I just want them to make this have some connection to Grindhouse becuase dammit it is

I just watched the trailer in HD, wow the quality is shit. What bullshit prosumer excuse for a camera is RR using this time? Honestly, the footage from my DSLR looks better...

...I'm sure RR is doing some work on the image. It's not the camera..it's the stuff he's doing to the image that may disturb you.

No, it's the camera. It's the lack of information that the camera records that causes the color grading issue which tends to degrade the image. At least with high end professional cameras (F35, Genesis, Red One, etc...) it captures enough information to work with, but this footage looks like it's from an HV20.
