Re: What is your favorite movie?

Call me Cliche, I don't care but my favorite is Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind. I like everything from the music to the acting. I think it's a modern day love story with tremendous imagination and heart.

Some Like It Hot . . .

Maybe Brazil or The Godfather or Star Wars or Annie Hall or Citizen Kane and countless others.

just too many choices. My head explodes trying to pick only one.

Re: What is your favorite movie?

It's a three-way tie for me:

Ghostbusters (the funniest)
Die Hard (the awesomest)
High Fidelity (the most personal)

Re: What is your favorite movie?

It's so hard to concretely nail one down as it depends on the mood I'm in when I want to watch a movie, but if I had to pick only one I wouldn't regret picking

Long live the 90's!
My favorite, now that I really reflect on it, is also the best film I've ever seen: Lawrence of Arabia. There's not a bad performance in the lot, though I'm partial to Anthony Quinn's Auda abu Tayi. You can imagine what I think of the quoted excerpt from the OP.

The movies I can quote along with from seeing them so many times are The Transformers: The Movie, Tombstone, Jurassic Park and Star Trek: First Contact.

Yeah, I think it's time for another The Thing poll. One that asks this question with just two possible answers...

"What is the greatest movie of all time?"

- The Thing

- some other movie

Today Blue Velvet

Tomorrow it might be Trainspotting or Brazil, or one of about 10 others.
