Is My Bloody Valentine (1981 R-Rated version) any good?
Okay, I picked up this movie as a 2-pack with April Fool's Day a few months ago for $5 and haven't watched it yet. I just wanted to know for those of you who have seen it if it's any good? Since the special edition with extra footage is being released next week, I was wondering if this is even worth watching now or let alone keeping? I heard it's heavily censored. Is it really old and dated?

I'm surprised you picked this up since you knew about the special edition....
Is it any good? Yeah it's still a solid film in it's rated r form....
My Bloody Valentine is still considered one of the better slashers besides this.
If something is butchered like this version & still loved then you know it's quality.
Is it really old and dated? It's an 80s slasher what do you expect? lol
It still holds up better than alot of them....
But the version you have is pretty much useless since it's also on S.E. dvd....
Is it any good? Yeah it's still a solid film in it's rated r form....

I actually picked up the R-rated version before I learned of the special edition.
