One of these movies must be burned and destroyed - your choice

a) The Godfather (1972)
b) Grapes of Wrath (1940)
c) It's A Wonderful Life (1946)
d) Yankee Doodle Dandy (1942)

Which film would you erase from the world? Which is the most expendable?

We can get rid of the movie Yankee Doodle Dandy. Now getting rid of the song, on the other hand, would make me angry.

That's not something to brag about.

I gotta go with Grapes of Wrath -- overly preachy and not one of Ford's best.

Yankee Doodle Dandy, it's not that bad but compared to the other three, it's got no chance.

The only one I might miss is The Godfather. I guess I don't care much for the classics.

Call me Scrooge, but I voted for IAWL.

It's the voice. I can't stand the voice. Everything I hear Zuzu Bailey talk I want to yank the wings off of an angel.

Instead of Yankee, I should have put Jaws instead. Then it might have been more difficult.

I'm surprised at all the Yankee-haters. I was enthralled by that film when I first saw it last Fourth of July. The songs, the dance-moves....very inspiring.

I think we all should be able to see the movies listed before making a decision. Yankee Doodle Dandy is a classic..

But It's a Wonderful Life bugs the shit out of me. Send it to hell!

You just answered your own question. You put a musical up against 3 other non-musicals and 9 times out 10 the musical will get the axe.

Yankee Doodle Dandy. I'm not a fan of dancing or singing.
