Without clicking your link, I'm guessing your #1 comedy is Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

Am I right?

No, it wasn't. And it received mostly positive reviews.

I don't think plugging a pointless blog is against the rules.

He's not selling anything, just writing crap.

I didn't really think about In Bruges being a comedy. It would be number one on my list though.

Yeah I agree, but since I found it funnier than most movies deemed "comedies" I put it on the list.

I thought the first 30-40 minutes of Step Brothers was hilarious. But the rest was just boring and painful to watch and I found myself losing interest. Sarah Marshall and Zack And Miri didn't do much for me either.

Tropic Thunder I love. Burn After Reading I found quite funny. Religilous was ok. Need to see In Bruges, Role Models (trailer was funny as hell), Pineapple Express and Rock N Rolla. Oh and I have no doubt I will quite enjoy Synodoche, New York.

Synecdoche, NY is in no way a comedy. There are funny parts, but overall I would classify it as Drama.

1. Zack and Miri
2. Forgetting Sarah Marshall
3. Burn After Reading
4. Role Models
5. Tropic Thunder

No other comedies really did it for me (assuming that In Bruges doesn't count, cause I can't nail down a genre for that film)

I haven't seen any of the films mentioned in this thread so far and I don't feel compelled to make an effort to correct this at all.
