People still read AICN?

As much BS as this is, I bet there is a Warner exec somewhere mulling over the thought and running the numbers. "Maybe we can sell 2 million Blu-rays the first week with Eddie!"

Eddie Murphy can ONLY be the Riddler if Joel Schumacher is directing The Dark Knight sequel.

I know Chris Nolan goes with a lot of actors out of left field(Ledger as the Joker, Eric Roberts as Sal Maroni, Cillian Murphy as the Scarecrow) and they've all worked out brilliantly, but there's no way he'd ever cast Eddie Murphy as the Riddler. He's totally wrong for that part. Hell, even his laugh is wrong for the part.

And Robin ain't showing up in a Nolan/Bale Batman series. He doesn't fit in that world.

This would bring down the series if true because we all kjnow that Eddie has a clause that entitles him to play at least 3 characters in all his movies ...

If they are going to make up a story, at least make it believable.

And him playing multiple characters in a movie was only good in "Coming to America".

"The Nutty Professor" was funny, but it wasn't nearly as good as "Coming to America".

The last thing the rebooted Batman franchise needs is Robin and the Riddler.

I'd go with Catwoman as an antagonist/romantic interest as long its the Brubaker version of the character with a decent actress.

Batman Three.

The title is a clever play on the fact that Adam West and Michael Keaton play the Batmen from Earth-1 and Earth-A respectively and join with Bale's Batman to stop Maxie Zeus and Hugo Strange from doing stuff.

*sigh*

Just saw a Morning Show report this. I e-mailed them and told them it was debunked and from a tabloid and they might want to check their sources.

What happened to Eddie Murphy? He fell from grace like none other...

The 90s weren't exactly good to him, either. Mostly crap compared to the gold he put out in the 80s.

The man needs a good Beverly Hills Cop to turn his career around..

I think the last thing I enjoyed Murphy in was Bowfinger. When was that, a decade ago?

Watch DREAMGIRLS. Probably the best thing he's ever done/will do.

I say he plays the Ridler as a Fat Afridan American Woman like in all his other wonderful comedies.

I know there no chance of Eddie Murphy being in the next Batman film but if it were to happen, it would be a huge mistake. Warner Bros needs to watch Superman 3 if they ever consider adding Murphy to any Batman film.

I guess it's good thing that Nolan has used Michael Caine as the "Watson" character then.
