It's Obama's fault.

What was the point of this thread? Someone needs to temporarily suspend the account of the user who started this thread if only to spare us from a single asinine post.

Was this supposed to be a joke? Because if so, I think it really missed the boat.

That being said, the only person I can envision portraying Obama (not that I really think an Obama movie needs to be made) is Will Smith. They look close enough and Smith is a good enough actor to play such a big role.

Morgan Freeman makes sense. He should be 90 when filming begins.

I think Spike Lee would be more likely to make an Obama film than Stone.

I find it amazing how much emphasis people put on the actor having to look just like the real Obama. Is that really SO important?

Am I misunderstanding your statement? Are you saying that Bush hasn't done or affected anything over the past 7-3/4 years?

I don't see a theatrical release within the next ten years. If it were made sooner, I see Will Smith. He said about doing it on Colbert's show. Though big actors' schedules, pay, etc. always stand in the way, I can see Smith doing it. If not Smith - who knows. In it's made in ten years, it could be anyone.

No, because the implication was that Obama had to fix things or be positive for there to be a movie made out of him. Bush did neither.

They don't make movies about good presidents. Even if Obama has a terrible 4 years, he still won't be movie worthy because he's a democrat.

Martin Scorcese has a movie about a Republican who wasn't shot coming out in 2010:
