Max Payne Review
I haven't seen this movie yet and my expectations are not high. Nevertheless, I found the review by Brian Orndorf to be virtually useless. It's pretty clear that this guy is much more interested in listening to himself try to sound like some sort of movie reviewer savant than he is in actually providing a useful review. Does anybody agree with this assessment or am I being unfairly critical of this reviewer?

If I were you -- I wouldnt see this film.
It is a very bad cliche on action films with alot of bad acting and decent special effects.
Save your money - go see something else...
Oh and save your badmouthing for later post rather than your first one.

I don't think I've agreed with a single one of Orndorf's reviews. So I just don't bother reading them anymore. That's just personal taste though. I do think you're being a little too critical. IMO, he doesn't come off as a "snobby" reviewer to me. He just doesn't like what I like.

as for the movie, it was very forgettable and a waste of time IMO.
