Least chemistry couple?

Which movie couples had the least chemistry, in your opinion?

sauce07 10-31-08 02:22 PM

Harrison Ford and Anne Heche in Six Days, Seven Nights. Nothing between them at all.

BJacks 10-31-08 03:10 PM

Mark Wahlberg and Zoey Deschanel in "The Happening." There was more sexual tension between Tim Robbins and Martin Lawrence.

Tom and Nicole.

RocShemp 10-31-08 04:47 PM

Although I like both movies, Kate Beckinsale and Scott Speedman in Underworld and Underworld: Evolution.

Yeti4623 10-31-08 09:36 PM

The couple in Jason Takes Manhattan.

While I'm sure there's a ton more, this one is right on.
Just watched this the other night and they were so mismatched they might as well have been from different species. From different planets.

But man, I love me some Zoey

Great movie but I wasn't feeling this and the film suffers for it. Gyllenhaal was the crux of Dent's transformation so it's a shame she's underused and the relationship as a whole just doesn't ring true, imo.

Agreed. I think Katie Holmes and Aaron Eckhart would've had good chemistry based on their previous work together.

Maybe but as a whole I think maggie did a much better job then katie.

Maggie was better, but I hate discontinuity. I would have been happier with the inferior actress here.

Nic Cage and Vanessa Marcil in The Rock....even though I loved the movie. Really awkward pairing IMO.

Nic Cage and Meg Ryan in City of Angels.

Actually Nic Cage pretty much has zero chemistry with every single one of his leading ladies.

Sly Stallone and Sharon Stone in The Specialist.

Catherine Zeta Jones - Brad Pitt = No Chem
Julia Roberts - George Clooney = No Chem

The sad thing is Catherine Zeta Jones and George Clooney have awesome chemistry and would've been a better couple in the Ocean's films.

marty888 11-01-08 07:52 AM

John Travolta and Lily Tomlin in MOMENT BY MOMENT (1985)

First one for me as well. Add to that Brandon Routh and Kate Bosthworth in Superman Returns.

Except for Laura Dern IMO

TimeandTide 11-01-08 01:47 PM

Loved the movie, but didn't believe AT ALL the Seth Rogen/Katherine Heigl match in Knocked Up.

I don't know. I kind of bought Him and Tea Leoni in The Family Man. I've seen much worse.

Yeti4623 11-01-08 02:25 PM

Am I the only one who thought Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe didn't have a lot of chemistry in Cruel Intentions, even though they were a couple in real life?
