Not sure if you guys noticed but Christmas Evil is on the horror channel to watch for free until the end of Jan. I watched it last night, it's way better quality then the original dvd release I have. - I still can't justify an upgrade for a once a season watch..

Re: Christmas Horror Movies

Blind bought Santa's Slay for $3 today based on some rad screenshots over in the Movie Talk Forum.

Also I didn't know that Jack Frost was OOP. Went ahead and ordered a copy for $7 as well

Re: Christmas Horror Movies

^ Report back with how Santa's Slay is. I'm leery of anything starring a former wrestler, but those screencaps did look rad.

Definitely will. I'll probably watch it either tonight or late tomorrow.

I didn't even look to see that Bill Goldberg was in it. When I bought it today, at first I put it down thinking, "Goldberg's in it? Maybe this is the remake"

Its cheesy as hell and the storyline is really stupid. That said, I love watching it this time of year because its silly and fun.

Agreed. I just finished watching it.

When watching it I got the feeling of a film that was half (sort-of) Horror Film and half Made-For-TV Disney Film. Mostly because many of the main characters are written that way.

Goldberg is barely noticeable in all of his gear in this film, which is a good thing. I was sort of glad they put makeup on that god awful Bro-ed out tattoo of his.

For $3, it's definitely a lot of silly fun and as another poster around these parts mentioned, it's worth it for the opening scene. Definitely not nearly as bad as some of the random DTV Horror I've bought over the years.
