Sadly, there appear to be a lot of perverts on this board. I haven't seen her in anything but the first "Transformers", so I can't speak to her acting skills.

No love for The Rock or Bad Boys?

Only saw each of those once, and wasn't too impressed.

Wow. The Rock is easily Michael Bay's best movie. Armageddon is fun but it's also easily his silliest movie. Even sillier than the ones with the chatty robots.

I don't think enjoying pictures of pretty women make you a pervert

I'm no Michael Bay fan but I still think The Rock is one of the best action movies of the 90s.

Well obviously he is a masochist. Also... It is humor we involve ourselves with. So crude? Sure. Funny though.

And that is an aspect of humor. Still works. Words are only as strong as you make them and seems like this bullshit humor gets ya. Tough titty. The best aspect of this film so far is that April is given a good wardrobe update. And let us be honest. The only factor of an inclusion of Fox is that is she has type that guys wouldn't mind fucking the shit out of her. Unlike what others says, she ain't horrible but she is serviceable in acting. She has fuckability and she can get the job given for these films. That's all it is. Seems like they're getting done what they want done.

You're making something too big.

I think watching Transformers gives you more than enough data about her acting skills (or the lack thereof).

That said, I wouldn't have minded one bit had Paige Turco reprised her role as April O'Neil. The only issue is that she couldn't play a junior reporter.

Emma Stone would have been great but she's in ASM2.

Meghan Ory would have been another good choice. I guess since she's in OUAT they'd've figured there'd be a scheduling conflict. But she barely appears in that show anyway. So it probably just boils down to no one knowing who she is.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead would have been a great choice as well.

Megan Fox is a serviceable actress (not terrible but certainly not great) and she has sex appeal. So she was chosen to be in this. And, yeah, the wardrobe update for April certainly helps to sell the look of the character.

^ Aubrey Plaza could have done it, too.

If you were expecting realism from that film, well, then, you really need to think about the way you approach movies.

Acting and Transformers should not be used in the same sentence.

Who cares if Fox can't act she is eye candy for a popcorn film. I'll gladly buy my ticket and enjoy it for whats it worth.

Although the trailer sells it as a comedy, I'm expecting something more akin to Another Earth (which I loved) in terms of being low key. Is that a fair assessment?

Don't care unless they're comments about a forum member. Also

I haven't seen Another Earth. It does have many instances of sharp and dark humor. It is a low key flick, though. SNG was on my top 10 best of 2012 list along with Seeking a Friend for the End of the World. In fact, they make a perfect double header.
