Zimmer isn't my favorite composer but TDK score was well done. I didn't care that they went with him over Alf Clausen for The Simpsons Movie, but it wasn't entirely bad either.
A lot of people just rank him as a very generic composer.

Also, I didn't say one thing about the music itself being good or bad, just the fact that it's obvious how its made of of several cues put together.
If it weren't for James L. Brooks' involvement, Clausen most certainly would've gotten the film but Brooks goes with Zimmer on most of his movies (like 'As Good as it Gets')

If saying something is a 'jumbled mess' doesn't mean bad I don't know what is.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)
Have you heard the complete scores for Batman Begins and The Dark Knight?
If so, then you know the albums for those scores were edited out of the complete scores into suite form.
In this case, the suites don't flow well. I didn't say one word about whether the supposed Selina Kyle music was good or not, or the Bane chanting, or the many callbacks to ideas in the first two.

The film's official production notes are in PDF form on the official website, and are a great read full of quotes from the cast and crew without being too spoilerish:

LOL @ the "Is that real?" questions. Don't any of you go to actual movie sites? It's on the first page of every one.
It's the official IMAX poster (a.k.a. the poster everyone going to see the Midnight Imax showing will receive).

Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)
I think it would be good if Nolan killed Bats. Just to be original considering his trilogy ends here. I think WB would let him. I've thought it a possibility but honestly...I don't know. Nolan is a bag of surprises w/ Batman.
