Since I don't think Nolan has written page 1 of the movie, I somehow doubt this.
Nnnnnnnnoooooooooooooooooo!!! Yeah, she looks OK. But she is a horrible, HORRIBLE, "actress".

I think the jury is still out on that one. She's been in two shitty movies directed by Michael Bay. Not much room to flex your acting chops there.

Are you serious? Do you seriously think see has the potential to be a good actress. Honestly? If she didn't have a nice ass, would anyone give a shit about her? And anyway, I don't think Nolan has ever put a really hot women in any of his movies.

You may disagree, but Scarlett Johansson is generally considered to be a "really hot woman".

I always felt Katie Holmes was a cutie in that "captive against her will" sort of way.

Anyone has potential. I'm just pointing out that given her resume she hasn't had a role to actually challenge her. I'm not close minded enough to write someone off based on two movies(especially shitty ones at that).

I'm sure we could all pick out someone hugely famous that starred in a couple shitty movies early in their career. Hell, I bet that is 90% of Hollywood.

Also Nolan doesn't exactly have the greatest track record with picking female co-stars for the Batman franchise anyway, so Megan Fox could fit right in.

True. Ledger deserved the Oscar just for being able to call her beautiful with a straight face.

Female leads so far in Nolan flicks:

Memento - Carrie Anne Moss
Insomnia - Hillary Swank
Batman Begins - Katie Holmes
the Prestige - Scarlett Johansson
The Dark Knight - Maggie Gyllenhaal
Inception - Ellen Page

Pre-Batman was solid, but after that it's almost like the studio is doing the casting.

I think casting is fine across the board except for Katie Holmes. Of course, I don't get the hate for Ellen Page and thought Scarlett was just fine for her role in Prestige and Gyllenhaal was adequate.

Megan Fox would be an AWESOME Catwoman for the bad-acting Hale Berry Catwoman sequel...but keep her far from Nolan's Batmans...

I think Tom Cruise probably feels the same way. She looks fine to me too. I also don't mind Maggie Gyllenhaal (so I must be f***ed up).

If this is true then i think you guys will be pleasantly surprised by her performance. Meh, who am I kidding? You guys will find a way to shoot her down.

I'm very interested in seeing the Catwoman character in Nolan's "realistic" universe.

If Nolan can pull off a deranged, disfigured clown prince of crime and a guy walking around with half his face melted off, I'm sure a female master thief who likes to dress up in leather and use a whip wouldn't be too difficult to incorporate into his vision.

If I wasn't comfortable with that pic getting out, I wouldn't have posted it at BB.com years ago.

re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)

I don't see the Fox rumor happening but I have faith that whoever Nolan picks will be great in the film while he is directing.

As it stands there is no female characters and I'm sure they'll change that. I'd bet on seeing either Ra's daughter or Catwomen in the third film. I'd also bet that it won't be the Batman Returns psycho Catwomen, opting to focus more attention on Selina Kyle-Bruce Wayne instead.

re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)

Personally I think she's waaaaaaay too young to be Selina Kyle. Isn't Selina Kyle a woman about Bruce Wayne's age? We need an adult woman to play her. Fox is still too young to be something like Kyle.

also I'm not saying she can't act but....Michael Bay films are eye candy. We can all admit that. Bay himself said in the doc for the first Transformers film that he need a great looking gal in it. So far the most we've seen her act is in those trailers for Jennifer's Body. Which is part comedy/horror...so the acting can't be that great from the TF films. I won't say she's a shit actress there's no proof to that yet. She's been in 2 Bay films we've seen. Ok. That doesn't mean much to the acting world. I just can't see Nolan choosing her though. I'm sure Nolan has enough clout/power to do whatever the fuck he wants now...and for now. I don't think WB would fuck over the man that gave them sooooo much money. And furthermore with Critical weight to it.

So either Jennifer's Body proves it or maybe Jonah Hex can. Those films seem have to much more meat of a plot than the Bay films.

Looks like she's not playing Catwoman, because as I said, there's no script:

I wish people would verify their stories before posting here.

re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)

The only rumor worth discussing because it actually has some credibility regardless is the big IF regarding shooting the entire film in IMAX.

But at the same time, a technical rumor like that doesn't get people unreasonably riled up to the point that they'll believe anything, shouting 'nooooo' or 'yessssss' to whatever actor / actress is the latest name floating around.
