Anne Hathaway had more to say about her costume, and the many leaked set photos and videos:

“I’m having a lot of fun working on Chris Nolan’s ‘Batman,’ the latest Batman movie. I’m having an absolute blast doing it, but it’s very big. The thing that’s wonderful about Chris is that he is the most successful person in Hollywood at the moment, but his movies aren’t Hollywood. It feels like you’re making an indie. He’s actually a really alternative filmmaker. He just happens to have like a seven billion figure budget. [Laughs] I like to call him Hitchcock, but he blows things up.”
They just released your first official still, but we also got a ton of unofficial material from the fans hanging around the set. How does that make you feel? Is it stealing your thunder and is there any concern about revealing too much about that final product?
It’s disappointing. I think everyone feels a slight frustration with it because those stills so undercut the work that’s being done. No, no one’s nervous about it. I mean, honestly, like, wait till you see this movie. Chris is doing insane things in it. And it’s gonna be marvelous and it’s gonna be way beyond what anyone imagines that it could be. You can’t imagine the things that he’s doing, at least I couldn’t until I read the script and I was like, ‘You’re really? Okay, you’re going there!” And it’s Chris Nolan; even the picture that he released of me, that’s not everything. That’s like a tenth of what the catsuit is. And I’ve got to say, I find it frustrating and I know he finds it frustrating, but I also think that he’s having fun with it, kind of like spooning out secrets. He has a lot more control than you think.

Here's a spy report from when they were filming at
If accurate, I really like what they're doing with one of the villains.

If that's true, I like what Nolan is doing with Bane.

I'm trying to filter what CharlieK said into something more...Nolanesque..if so..that's neat. I was game for this movie after TDK. I'm game for it now. I can't wait to get a full theatrical trailer whenever we can.

And probably watch out for a whole series of fan-made parodies using all the fan-shot stuff that's out there too, unfortunately.

According to one production guy, the goofy goggles thing she is wearing flips around and ears pop up in the back as a radio. I can sorta see that if I look close enough... I dunno, it could be BS.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)
The one in the green dress in the upper left corner was her original appearance when she was only known as "The Cat." That was only used in a few appearances in the 40s.
The four in the top/top-right were from the late 40s through the 60s. Basically that was the bad time of Batman comics when they entered the sci-fi era of the 50s and the Adam West camp of the 60s.
The purple skirt with green cape in the bottom right was the iconic Catwoman of the Silver Age when Denny O'neil revised Batman into the modern age "Dark Knight Detective" in the 70s. This was also when Catwoman went from strict villain into anti-heroine with Bruce and Selina in love. This remained from the 70s until the mid 80s when DC did the Crisis on Infinite Earths reboot.
Following the COIE reboot, Catwoman's new costume became the purple with black boots in the bottom left.
Shortly after Knightfall, both Batman and Catwoman went to all black costumes to be like the Tim Burton movies. That Catwoman costume is the all black one right right above the COIE reboot costume.
In the early 2000s, Catwoman started wearing the costume in the bottom center piece and has been wearing it ever since.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises (Nolan)
Soooo...those pics that were put up on IGN.com were mine, the batwing/batjet, along with Catwoman on the cycle. My Flickr set is here...
For clarification, it definitely looked like a small one-man aircraft that was on a rig that I'm sure will be digitally wiped from the picture. It made several passes up and down the ramp, I just couldn't get out of a meeting and get my camera out quick enough to get a better shot of it. By the time I was heading home from the office, they were filming all Catwoman on the bike.

Nerd Alert
The correct name is Batplane. It was only ever called Batwing in the Tim Burton movie. Batwing in the comics is a character who is the Batman from Africa.
