Great movies with bad titles?

I am not sure why I thought of this, I think it was because of "Tropic Thunder" as it looks good, but i really don't like the title. i am sure it is apropos as some others that seem a little funky like "The Shawshank Redemption", i mean you couldn't think of it with any other.

So what great movies have titles you just don't particularly like?

3000 Miles to Graceland While not a great action movie, the title killed this movie at the box office because it makes absolutely no sense unless you've managed to catch a brief line of dialogue that barely explains it.

A couple I've never really cared for:

Minority Report- I remember thinking this was a legal drama when I first heard about it.

Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World - I don't think they could have come up with a longer title if they tried.

Rambo - Not a bad title alone, but it makes no sense in the continuity of the series: First Blood, Rambo: First Blood pt. 2, Rambo III, Rambo!?

That's like The Never Ending Story Part II. I think Lionel Hutz had a legit case with that one.

The current B.O. list is starting to look like a restaurant menu:

Tropic Thunder
Pineapple Express
Mamma Mia

Don't forget Curse of the Cat People, which had nothing to do with a curse or cat people.

Have you ever seen Cat People, Leave Her to Heaven, Strange Love of Martha Ivers, Curse of the Demon? Two of those are excellent Jacques Tourneur films, "Leave Her.." is one of the best examples of "color noir" ever made, and "Martha Ivers..." is an excellent, underrated noir that was nominated for Best Original Screenplay. Think before you speak, maybe.

How about Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl?

Since it wasn't a sequel, there really was no reason for a subtitle.

A few others:

Speed

Starship Troopers - I know it's based on the book, but the book has the excuse of being written when a title like that was cool. What's the excuse since it was made in '97?

Cloverfield - Unless you geeked out on viral videos and message boards, then this title makes no sense.

Crash - Amazing movie, but the explaination for the title was shockingly lame, nothing more than the "we're going to rationalize the title" scene.

I thought Speed was a terrific title. Whatwould you call it?

My vote goes to "Do The Right Thing", because Mookie didn't

Fight Club (made it sound very lame)
Se7en (pronounced ses-evan-en in my head...)
Alien 3 (where the 3 made it look like Alien 'cubed')
Panic Room (made it sound boring. oOo! People stuck in a small room!)

(at this point, I want to say sorry to David Fincher. It's not your fault...)

oddly enough, I can't think of any others at the moment...

Fight Club was a book, why change the title? Plus, thats the name of the main element in the film/book.

As far as Se7en goes, its still just Seven... no matter how you slice it, which is a great title for the film, in my opinion.

I agree with a lot of these, but what would you deem a more appropriate title for some of the aforementioned films?

I mean what would you re-name Seven, Panic Room, Glengarry GlenRoss or even Cloverfield?
