My Name is Bruce -- October release

Looks like goofy fun and a must for Bruce Campbell fans.

Well, that looks pretty terrible. I want to believe this could be a lot of fun, but it's just got "bad Bruce Campbell film" written all over it. With more of a budget, and a little less tongue in cheek, this probably could have ended up being pretty decent. I might give it a watch if I know someone with a copy, but I don't think I'd blind buy it.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting it to be as low budget as it appears. But that being said... There were some laughs in that trailer and it looks absolutely endearing and fun.

I am still pretty sold on this.

My first thought upon seeing this thread: "Is this the long-awaited follow-up to They Still Call Me Bruce?"

As usual, I can't link to Shock Till You Drop, so you'll have to go through this link to see the trailer.

That's what I thought at first as well, except I feared it was a remake.

Me and my girlfriend (who is absolutely in love with Bruce Campbell) will be going to see this on the 19th in Columbus.
We will probably go see it twice cause she wants to see both Q&A sessions.

Saw it this weekend in New York w/ Campbell doing Q&As. Pretty terrible movie. Cheap, badly acted, indeed, a "bad B-Bruce Campbell movie." Ted Raimi is great as 3 or 4 dif characters. Some cameos from the Evil Dead actors as well, though he said 2 roles were written for the women from ED and they turned it down bc it was a non-union film. And Campbell comes off at times as an angry old man yelling "get off my lawn" during the Q&A, but he's still great.
