Man, these films suck. Insult to the horror genre and sad that these keep raking in the money.

Really cool poster. Hate the movies though.
|
I assume that's supposed to be
Spoiler:
I believe the producers are contracted to do 6 films with Lionsgate. |

Cool poster. Kind of morbid. |

It's the Friday the 13th/Halloween/Nightmare on Elm Street of the 2000's. It's to this generation what those were to that generation, where a new installment came out every year and it got more and more tired the more that they made. If anything, I like the series because of that, because we don't have many horror series like that these days. I didn't care for Part 4 all that much, but I'm sure I'll see part 5. And part 6.
|
I also have enjoyed each film and it does add more to the overall story with each entry. Love the poster and cant wait to see the film! the only poster that was kinda iffy was the one for saw IV w/ the lady tied up with the pig mask. It wasnt bad but was far from being as great as this poster for V.

Excellent poster.
|
I like em, they are predictable but entertaining.
|
That is creepy as hell.
I'm not a huge horror fan really, but I've enjoyed the piss out of the Saw series. |
If I had to rank the films up to this point ...
1. Saw II 2. Saw III 3. Saw 4. Saw IV They're usually entertaining flicks (except for the last outing), but a little bit upsetting this is what the American public has chosen to be their horror franchise of choice. The posters are always top notch and the latest one is no different. Even if Saw IV was a near abomination (not surprised considering the writers' last film, Feast, was a pile of horse shit), I'm still down for Saw V. |
Mine would be:
1. Saw 2. Saw II 3. Saw III 4. Saw IV Huge drop in quality with each added chapter. FWIW, I thought Feast kicked ass. |
Effective poster -- don't have high hopes for the movie though.

My order is the same, although I wouldn't say there have been huge quality drops between the sequels. I liked the first movie the best, simply because I enjoyed how most of the movie was contained in the bathroom and I dug the puzzles around them. The rest of the series moved towards just throwing in random crazy traps. 4 was the weakest, but honestly rewatching it knowing how it relates to part 3 helps make sense of it in the big picture. |

I am shocked a certain Kobe fan has not posted yet.
|
I've enjoyed each installment so far. From what I can tell, each sequel isn't pissing all over what was done before it. At least, not as bad as most series seem to do.
