While at the theater this morning I saw the big ass poster for saw V. Say what you will at the shittiness of these films, but you gotta admit the poster art is quite creative.

My anticipation for this one is actually pretty high. I really disliked Saw III, but I really liked IV and I'm interested to see where they're going with what happened at the end of IV.

And to continue some of the rankings, mine would be: 1. Saw 2. Saw IV 3. Saw II 4. Saw III

With budgets around the ten million mark, I don't think they'll miss you. ;) They make their money back on opening night, everything else is gravy.

Awesome poster. I accidentally scrolled past the top part and all I saw was the nose/chin area and below and it reminded me of the michael meyers mask, combined with the V halloween lol.

So will we still see a Saw IV directors cut before number 5 is in theaters?

Isn't Saw IV Director's Cut already on DVD?

Saw I is a classic.

Let me rephrase that, will we see the 2-disc SE in time for Saw V?

Doesn't look like it with the movie releasing in a month. Though nothing really surprises me with how they've been releasing the Saw films on DVD.

I'm happy this time around they at least gave us the Director's Cut of IV the first time.

I was wondering where the 2 disc SE was for Saw IV. Wonder if they are just passing on it since we got the unrated one or its delayed since DLB was busy with Repo this past summer. I hope they do a 2 disc so it matches the other releases.

I checked the Saw web site and there is no news about a possible Saw IV re-release. I'm actually really surprised by that considering Darren Lynn Bousman said in his commentary on Saw IV there will be another Saw IV DVD.
Lionsgate blew a shot to make some extra $$$$ and help promote Saw V.

Seriously, I wanted my longer Saw IV cut (which, hopefully, would have made the film better) with a DTS track and a ticket for Saw V. Lionsgate continues their alarming trend of sucking. Sigh... they used to be so genre-friendly. What happened?

How funny is it that people are wanting the double dip of Saw

Well maybe the 2-disc saw 4 will come out around the first dvd release of saw V.
