His movies don't do much for me. I'll watch them, but I don't seek them out. I don't think he has much range, and basically plays the same character over and over.

As far as what he does outside of acting, I don't know. I don't read interviews, I don't watch any interviews, and I don't involve myself with any TMZ-ish type publications.

I hope when he's done acting, he'll finally admit to a "Green Day" work ethic: He does what makes money, why fix what ain't broke?

I like him on-screen. I don't know how he is in real life, but I'd probably have something of an ego too if I were lauded as the most bankable actor in the world. YOU try not letting that get to your head. He makes a mediocre film watchable, and sometimes enjoyable, so that makes him alright with me.

I really don't understand where the Will Smith hate is coming from. Is this dvdtalk being elitist again? Just because he's mainstream, it must be cool to talk crap on him.

If you watch behind the scenes in any of his movies, he's a pretty down to earth guy. He's always involved with the production crew, doesn't seem like a dick at all.

If you think Ali was boring, is that really his fault or the director, Michael Mann? Mann made another borefest called Miami Vice.

I thought Smith was great in I Am Legend but overall the movie sucked. So he makes movies that are mediocre, but why the hate? Some of you guys sound like he raped your childhood(that should only go to Lucas :saber: )
