Anyone ever...
see a trailer in teh theater, and think "I really want to see that movie"? Then forget about it, only to see a review for the dvd coming out really soon? I had this happen twice in the last week. Saw reviews for both In Bruges and Be Kind Rewind. Saw trailers for both ages ago, then heard absolutely nothign about them when they were in theaters, now the dvd's are coming out. Apparently both had select runs in theaters. In Bruges topped out at 232 screens according to IMDB and Be Kind Rewind at 810. Niether one played near me.

Not really....unless its something that only comes through at 1 or 2 theaters in the city and is only there for a week.
But then, perhaps, I keep a little too up-to-date on release dates and the local listings.

Nope. But I pay close attention to movies.
For some crazy reason, I didn't make it to see There Will Be Blood in January. I just caught it on DVD. I was soooo psyched about the release. But I just haven't felt like going to the theater lately. Last movie that I saw was probably Hitman. I remember gorging myself of theatrical releases last November and December.
