If this isn't proof that Indy 4 has re-energized the franchise, I don't know what is!

Including this one? One too many.

Seriously, how about an explanation of your opinion on the matter. Threads are more interesting when the OP gives some perspective on why they started the thread.

I don't think there are too many Indiana Jones threads- as long as there is lots of dialog bring 'em on.

I have an Indiana Jones Thread Thermomitor (tm) for occasions such as this at its reading at.....

Really? They're still talking about Indiana Jones this much?

Its not that bad though. My "How many George Lucas Raped my Childhood threads" radar detector exploded a long time ago. And it was like, original Death Star explosion, not the Special Edition one.

I was impressed by the "REVISITED" one. Clever variation.

I'd say... five.

One for each film, and the fifth for miscellany.

The thread has more sequels than the movie itself.

Can we combine this one with all of the other 'failure' threads?

I don't really understand the problem. For many, the new Indiana movie has revitalized a classic franchise. It's going to garner some discussion that doesn't neccessarily doesn't fit neatly into existing threads. Not unlike the Star Wars discussions that cropped up during the prequel releases. Those grew so much that a sub forum was warranted.

I don't think the Indiana threads are so numerous that a sub forum is needed. I vote to let the market decide how many threads are needed. If there isn't an interest in that particular Indiana topic, it will die a natural death.

Compared to all those threads we got for the lackluster Star Wars prequels, the number of current Indy threads is nothing.

Anyone who thinks 5-6 threads is too many obviously wasn't around here when the Star Wars prequels or Lord of the Rings movies were in theaters. Twenty, thirty threads at least and definitely needed a subforum then.

As long as the threads are different topics within the Indy realm, it's fine.

Now this thread, on the other hand, is quite useless.

Too many Indy threads, not enough "Bring it On" threads.
