I just saw Adam's Apples today

and I saw Flickering Lights and Green Butchers awhile back.

Any fans of this writer/director here?

Seems like he's been the beating heart of Danish cinema for the last couple of years.

I'm a big fan. I think that Adam's Apples might be his best work. I hope he continues to direct.

Other films he's written that I've enjoyed include:

With Your Permission
After the Wedding
Murk
Brothers
Wilbur Wants to Kill Himself
Open Hearts
Old Men in New Cars
The King is Alive
In China They Eat Dogs
Mifune

I'm a fan of Denmark's Jensen as well. His quantity and quality of work has been pretty damn consistent for roughly the past 10 years or so. From brooding dogme-based character studies to satirical comedies, he's fairly well adept in many a genre.

Of those he's directed, Adam's Apples is easily his most fully realized picture.

Adam's Apples was excellent - pity it took so long to come out here. I really love "ICTED" and "OMINC" as well - really hilarious and even better when you start recognizing the same actors from other Danish films (ie. the Pusher trilogy).

Even Rembrandt is his, another film he wrote. Though I haven't seen that one yet.

Not me.
I'm getting fucking tired of almost only having ATJ movies here. All starring the same people. Ugh

I only liked Adam's Apples, Flickering Lights and Green Butchers. The rest of his movies are crap. Especially the 3 directed by Susanne Bier
