Korman died at the center four months after suffering complications from the rupture of an abdominal aortic aneurysm.

"It was a miracle in itself that he survived the incident at all. Everyone in the hospital referred to him as 'miracle man' because of his strong will and ability to bounce right back after several major operations," said Korman's daughter, Kate Korman. "Tragically, after such a hard-fought battle, he passed away."

As sad as it is, I think it would a nice tribute to bring teh funny in the thread.

Maybe the first introduction to this talent for many of us, for better or worse.

RIP Harvey.

Yep. I'll put Blazing Saddles on tonight, though I really loved him on the Carol Burnett Show. The sketches with him and Tim Conway were priceless.

Harvey was a great actor. I grew up watching him on the Carol Burnett Show and his Mel Brooks movies. I never got to meet him or anything but I feel like i've lost a friend.

I believe this was Harvey's line- " You look like the piss boy."- Mel- " Well you look like a bucket of shit!"

"Men, you are about to embark on a great crusade to stamp-out runaway decency in the west. Now, you will only be risking your lives, whilst I will be risking an almost certain Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor."

Thank you Harvey for everything you brought to the screen as well as life.

Harvey Corman

Some of the heartiest laughs I've ever had were thanks to him and Tim Conway.

Tim was always trying to get him to crack up and it was comedy gold.
