barringer82's director tributes
barringer82 is a user on YouTube and he keeps posting these director/film montages and they're really good.

There are a few of them, but if you click on his username he has more, like Martin Scorsese, Michael Mann, Stanley Kubrick and others.
Not exactly "Movie" talk but I thought it was cool and wanted to post about it.

Hey, at least someone enjoyed them. On that playlist those are just the ones I think are the best. I especially like the mashing of Coen voiceovers and some of the editing is just masterful (the cut from the firecrackers in Boogie Nights to the glass doors being kicked in in PDL to the frogs hitting the window in magnolia is my favorite set of cuts).
I haven't watched the Kubrick montage because obviously the montages contain some level of spoilers and I haven't seen a lot of Kubrick's films. Although I did watch the PTA one before I saw Blood and ironically while my friend got all mad, I didn't even realize some of the stuff I'd seen was a spoiler until it was in context in the movie.
