Movie riddle help

Can anyone make sense of this movie riddle?

My films are entrenched in the Pantheon

A notable place to be

But who would’ve guessed my last one

Would use the Method on the sea?

the only thing that comes to mind is "longitude"

what's the context on these? are they normally big name people/movies? i dont know how deep we should be going on this.

The answer is probably Charlie Chaplin whose last movie A Countess from Hong Kong starred Method actor Marlon Brando aboard a luxury liner.
