I remember growing up watching a VHS that I had. It involved some type of ninjas or samurais and they turned into men with animal heads. I think I remember a lion being one of them. They were trying to rescue some boy or something to that effect. Sorry so vague, but I was only 6 or 7 yrs old.

The film was not animated or anything though.

Anyone have a clue? I'd like to see it again for old times sake.

maybe it was a boy and his father....i can't really remember...it seems like the bad guy was a lizard maybe?!

We used to watch a show in England in 1979 called Monkey Magic, about a traveling band of fighters who turned into animals. I loved it. And there was one fighter named Pigsy, I don't remember a lion though.

no, it wasn't Time Bandits...I did watch that movie last week though.

It wasn't Monkey Magic either.

This was definitely a samurai flick...it involved sword fights. Thanks for the help everyone....still trying to find it though!
