I like dems both movies dere.

The Thing is a good remake or readaptation. Both Dawn of the Deads kick ass.

Fart when needed. Don't hold it in. Have a nice day.

Screw the films. What if the actual Dawn Zombie fought the Thing? If they bit the Thing then they would become the Thing.

Thing wins.

Oh no, Zombie Thing! Please don't give Hollywood any ideas like this for some new movies! (Just look what they did with Alien and Predator in the same movies)

At least if this was comparing the Dawn remake it would have made a little sense.

Don't be so sure. The Thing thrives on living matter. If the Thing absorbed zombies, this would greatly incapacitate it. Most noticeably, it would move a lot slower. Probably end up like some lobotomized version of Jabba the Hut.

(If it's not clear, I'm firmly of old-school belief that ZOMBIES DO NOT RUN)

The Thing hands down
I just finished watching the original dead movies, and they were never scary and each one got progressively crappier

The very fact that The Thing is constantly pitted against many other great films can only serve to solidify it's place among the greatest films of all-time, horror or not.

It's my favorite film. The Thing will always win.

The Thing is great, but it's actually losing badly against the other movies I pitted it against. I'm surprised Alien is beating The Thing by such a large amount.

I don't fancy renting The Thing when I can just pull it from my own DVD rack.

This doesn't seem to be serving any purpose, so I'm closing it.
