I'd rather watch a Tyler Perry movie than that mexican sappy shit that came out last week. Under the Same Moon or whatever.

Tyler Perry is a brand and the reason that he places the 'Tyler Perry presents' in front of his movies is simply to capitalize on that brand equity.

I see nothing wrong in this approach and applaud his success.

Tyler Perry needs to release more Tyler Perry movies this year so he can flood the market and go away. I'm tired of the Tyler Perry brand already.

I wonder what Uncle Ruckus think of Tyler Perry movies.
