Psycho 1960 vs The Thing 1982

There was a story in 1960 when Psycho was in theaters. A teenager came out of the theater after seeing the film five times before, went home, and stabbed his grandmother to death.
I think this person would have voted for "Psycho" as his favorite.

I adore Psycho, don't get me wrong. It's in my top 10 or 20 movies of all time. I just think with a different title, the big twist in the storyline would have been insanely amazing.

Dumb poll. Should have been Psycho vs. The Thing from Another World.
In any case, The Thing is my favorite film of all-time, so that would obviously be my vote; but that's not to take anything away from Psycho.

I went with The thing only because it was a film that I grew up with. Psycho was a whole different generation...but I agree, it was a better film.

Psycho had some swammy dialogue: "Mother! Blood-blood!" as Norman discovers what Mother has done to Marion Crane.
The dialogue in The Thing is more realistic, but you're talking many, many years between films, and dialogue came a long way, BABY

It is incredible that this guy continues to make new thread about the same shit and doesn't get suspended or banned, while my threads announcing new releases get deleted in the DVDTalk forum.
