I think Swinton is an awesome actress (not very attractive, but yeah), but kind of surprised she won considering how little screen time she got in Clayton.

Oh, it definitely wasn't for a role. It was for writing Royal Tenenbaums with Wes Anderson.

You can just tell that Tilda Swinton really doesn't give a shit about an Oscar.

God bless her.

That's the second* reference towards "Batman and Robin" I've heard tonight. Weird.

*The first came from George Clooney being interviewed on the red carpet by Regis.

I loved Swinton in Clayton, but I'm surprised as well for how little time she was in it.

And I'm pretty sure I'm setting futility records in that Oscar pool...

If Owen was ever nominated for a role, you could pretty much pick any movie he's been in, since he acts exactly the same in every fucking film.

And props for including Robert Plant's / Allison Krauss's "Killing The Blues" in that JC Penney commercial. Stupid commercial. But great song. Why can't I use the name "Ween" for my Rock Band character on Xbox Live??

I liked Amy Ryan for the most part but there were a few scenes that just felt forced, I blame Ben Affleck for her not winning

Blanchett won't win anything tonight, but that isn't a surprise (and she's got to know it). Two chances to give the "You're going to die soon" oscars tonight and they skipped both.

I blame the fact that she didn't really have a great final scene like Tilda did in Michael Clayton. I hated the film but that was as great final scene between the two of them.
