'Vicky Cristina Barcelona' Penelope Cruz and Scarlett Johansson les scene, I'm There!
as reported on imdb
Penelope Cruz and Scarlett Johansson are to steam up the big screen in Woody Allen's new movie - by taking part in a reported lesbian sex scene. The actresses will lock lips and get hot and heavy in Vicky Cristina Barcelona, which also features Cruz's boyfriend Javier Bardem. According to British tabloid The Sun, Allen's aiming for one of the most erotic scenes in movie history. A source tells the publication, "People will be blown away and even shocked. Penelope and Scarlett go at it in a red-tinted photography dark room, and the whole scene will leave the audience gasping."
To quote Borat "Nice!"

Yea, they sure are making it sound hot but let's see how this thing plays out once they shoot it. I'm just as excited as the next guy, but I'm skeptical of studio lez scenes with well-known actresses. They just never seem to live up to what's in my head, sadly.

Gershon & Tilly are fairly well-known actresses, so this movie could potentially top that one.

I guess I should also add Wild Things. Hmmm.. maybe I misspoke. I guess this just sounds so good I'm worried it won't be as hot as I need/want it to be.

Hmmm... a hot lesbian scene between two popular actresses... in a Woody Allen movie. I'm going to call it here but the vast majority of the internet will see that scene only and not a bit of the rest of the movie.

THE HYPE: "Penelope Cruz and Scarlett Johansson are to steam up the big screen" in "one of the most erotic scenes in movie history" that "will leave the audience gasping!"
THE REALITY: Penelope Cruz and Scarlett Johansson play the wife and mistress of a seventy-two-year-old brush salesman who makes quips about the Atkins diet and Nietzsche as Dixieland jazz plays on the soundtrack. Later on, somebody kills somebody else and there is much reflecting upon how loathsome humanity is. Then, more Dixieland.

INT. BUSINESS MANAGER'S OFFICE - DAY
Woody Allen's BUSINESS MANAGER flips through Variety, sighing.
WOODY ALLEN opens the door, leans his head in and looks down.
Business Manager rolls eyes and continues.
He leaves.

Fine, I'll put the lesbian scene in the next film.

The sad thing is this still won't get people to see this film and it'll only make in it's entire U.S. theatrical run as much as something like Meet the Spartans or Cloverfield made on their first day...

Woody Allen is a pervert. And yes, this is just a publicity stunt to give his dead again career a boost. "Match Point" was great, and sexy enough. But "Scoop" and "Cassandra's Dream" stunk.
