Used to hate the pretty boys like Tom Cruise, but he's a decent actor and has some decent movies, minority report and that one with Jamie foxx even though there were 5 guys asked to do that part before Tom. Other than Blow and maybe charlie and the chocolate factory ok and maybe fear and loathing I have no use for Johnny Depp. Still trying to find a good movie starring colin farrel. Ben stiller, no use for other than meet the parents Richard Gere likes Gerbils For females Janeane Garoffalo Julia Roberts anything from the last 15 years. Jennifer Aniston |
Vin Deisel, The Rock, Jason Stathum, most modern action stars actually. Nicholas Cage, Johnny Depp, Shia Le'bouf, Tara Reid, Hayden Christianson, Lindsay Lohan, and probably many others I can't think of right now.

I HATE my fellow Iowans, Tom Arnold and Ashton Kunster(SP?). :crap:
Really sad when you consider These acting greats came from Iowa, John Wayne and Donna Reed. Plus Singer Andy Williams. :) |
Not a big fan of Ashley Judd. Not a good actress. makes forgettable movies.

Mine:
Ben Stiller - Ok, so you're funny. Ok, so you're angry. What else can you do? Martin Lawrence - The epitome of lowest common denominator. Sarah Jessica Parker - Horses just aren't attractive. Jason Bateman - Just very very very annoying. Almost ruined Arrested Development for me. Larry David - God, I HATE that show |
Tony Leung
Chiwetel Ejiofor Gary Oldman Daniel Day Lewis James McAvoy David Spade |

My short list of hated actors in random order....
Melanie Griffith (Jesus fucking Christ I hate that woman) Christian Slater (hated him ever since I saw him poorly channelling Jack Nicholson in Heathers.) Sandra Bullock (she just bugs me, and her nose freaks me out) Hugh Grant (he's a bumbling Englishman! Funny!) Julia Roberts, and her enormous mouth. Ashton Kutcher (he's so bad he doesn't even deserve to be included on a list of "actors" I hate). ...and any woman who is/was ever known as an "actress/singer" before age 25-- (Lindsay Lohan, Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, etc... the usual nightmares). |
Matthew McConahay (sp?) and Jack Black.. plenty of annoying actresses too, just too many to list!
|
Re: Most Hated Actors
As much as I hate Ashton Kutcher, I just realized he has some sort-of-respectable films that aren't just annoying romantic comedies:
Reindeer Games, Texas Rangers, The Butterfly Effect, Bobby, and The Guardian I still hate him though. |
Re: Most Hated Actors
I'll probably get a lot of hate for this, but I'm gonna go with Johnny Depp. Summer of '03 he was great, with Pirates and Once Upon a Time in Mexico, but I just don't understand the near-universal acclaim he receives.

Re: Most Hated Actors
Ben Affleck
|
Re: Most Hated Actors
Robin Williams
Jack Black Jim Carrey When their "shtick" gets out of hand. (Reigned in they can be decent, but they just can't control their instincts to overact in the most unassuming ways. Seems like they studied at the Jerry Lewis School of Acting.) |

In general, he's just done a lot of very solid work in a good number of iconic roles, plus he's one of the few really famous character actors out there (technically all actors are character actors, but most play them as a minor variation of themselves, less so with Depp (Edward Scissorhands had very little in common with Raoul Duke or Jack Sparrow or Sands or Don Juan)). That said, my buddy isn't a fan of his either. |
Re: Most Hated Actors
Julia Roberts used to annoy me back in the day.
These days, I can't think of anyone that annoys me. Also, death to those who hate Paul Giamatti. |
Re: Most Hated Actors
For me,
Patrick Dempsey Lisa Kudrow Yuck. |
Re: Most Hated Actors
I really dislike Ben Assfleck, Matt Damon, Ashton Kutcher, Tim Robbins, Julia Roberts, Susan Sarandon. They have had a few movies that I thought were okay, but the fact that these people were in them just ruined the movies for me. I am getting that way with Tom Cruise also with all his scientology crap.

Re: Most Hated Actors
Tracie Thoms, the black chick from Death Proof. She totally ruined the movie for me.

Spoiler:
The only time I sorta liked her was in Resident Evil but I dunno why as she was still playing the same damn character she always plays. |

Nope. The females I listed are unpleasant to look at/listen to, and the males are just plain annoying.

I despise Adam Sandler, Tom Cruise and Jack Black. |
Re: Most Hated Actors
I wouldn't classify it as "hate," because they're just actors in movies and TV shows to me. I reserve hatred for people who have actually wronged me or mine. Still, I can never seem to get into performances by the following, for various reasons:
Nick Nolte Adam Sandler (50% of the time) Jim Carrey Uma Thurman (50% of the time) Robert Beltran Reba McEntire (even as a longtime country music fan, I just never liked her) Woody Harrelson (50% of the time) |
