Used to hate the pretty boys like Tom Cruise, but he's a decent actor and has some decent movies, minority report and that one with Jamie foxx even though there were 5 guys asked to do that part before Tom.

Other than Blow and maybe charlie and the chocolate factory ok and maybe fear and loathing I have no use for Johnny Depp.

Still trying to find a good movie starring colin farrel.

...and any woman who is/was ever known as an "actress/singer" before age 25-- (Lindsay Lohan, Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, etc... the usual nightmares).

Matthew McConahay (sp?) and Jack Black.. plenty of annoying actresses too, just too many to list!

As much as I hate Ashton Kutcher, I just realized he has some sort-of-respectable films that aren't just annoying romantic comedies:

Reindeer Games, Texas Rangers, The Butterfly Effect, Bobby, and The Guardian

I'll probably get a lot of hate for this, but I'm gonna go with Johnny Depp. Summer of '03 he was great, with Pirates and Once Upon a Time in Mexico, but I just don't understand the near-universal acclaim he receives.

Because he's great in his Burton flicks (Ed Wood especially, didn't seem right for Wonka though). And Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. And Dead Man.

In general, he's just done a lot of very solid work in a good number of iconic roles, plus he's one of the few really famous character actors out there (technically all actors are character actors, but most play them as a minor variation of themselves, less so with Depp (Edward Scissorhands had very little in common with Raoul Duke or Jack Sparrow or Sands or Don Juan)).

That said, my buddy isn't a fan of his either.

I really dislike Ben Assfleck, Matt Damon, Ashton Kutcher, Tim Robbins, Julia Roberts, Susan Sarandon. They have had a few movies that I thought were okay, but the fact that these people were in them just ruined the movies for me. I am getting that way with Tom Cruise also with all his scientology crap.

I will +1 to Maggie Gylenahaaaal. I dont see what anyone sees in her. She isn't attractive, and isnt a very good actress. She made me long for Katie Holmes when I was watching the Dark Knight, and that is saying alot.

I wouldn't classify it as "hate," because they're just actors in movies and TV shows to me. I reserve hatred for people who have actually wronged me or mine. Still, I can never seem to get into performances by the following, for various reasons:

Adam Sandler (50% of the time)
Jim Carrey
Uma Thurman (50% of the time)
Robert Beltran
Reba McEntire (even as a longtime country music fan, I just never liked her)
