Mandy Moore-Worst year ever?

Ebert & Roeper (well Roeper & Phillips) named their worst 10 movies of the year and Mandy Moore was in three of them 1)Because I Said So, 2)License To Wed & 3)Southland Tales. Has any actor or actress ever had a worse year? The odds of appearing in 3 films that appear on such a list are astronomical. Your lucky if you make 3 movies in a year. But she wasn't. They actually like her and wished her well in picking better scripts but what a trifecta.

Maybe you should watch Dedication and not worry about the 'worst movies' that some worthless show proclaims to be worst.

It seems she picks movies that have a anti-conservative agenda in them.

From the thread title, I was expecting to read about how Ben Affleck felt sorry for her. By the way, he's got a new film coming out...

Speaking of License to Wed, how did the director manage to direct that abomination and go straight to "He's Just Not That Into You" with a laundry list of stars:

Ginnifer Goodwin .... GiGi
Scarlett Johansson .... Anna
Justin Long .... Alex
Jennifer Aniston .... Beth
Ben Affleck .... Neil
Drew Barrymore .... Mary
Jennifer Connelly .... Janine
Bradley Cooper .... Ben
Kevin Connolly .... Connor
Kris Kristofferson

So maybe not the hugest stars on the planet, but still, that's a hell of a lineup. It's like an early '00s reunion tour.

My girlfriend loves Mandy Moore so i've seen the first two. License to Wed was pretty crummy, but I thought Because I Said So was actually decent. Oh well

How that could possibly be construed as "anti-conservative" I'll never know.

I saw "Because I Said So" with the fiance. I thought it was absolute garbage with some very questionable ethics - I'm not even that conservative..just human decency...seriously dating two people at the same time I know it happens all the time in real life - but to glorify it with easy solutions is just lame.

Any year Eddie Murphy puts out a new movie.

Any year Paul W.S. Anderson or Uwe Boll directs someone in a movie.

For a while, any year Sly Stallone put out a movie. (Around 1989-2003, give or take a few exceptions)

Jessica Alba had a bad literal year, with FF2, Good Luck Chuck and The Eye all coming out within 12 months, and all sucking terrible ass.

"When I first saw the trailers I was excited , but I thought after hearing the part where the vampire says "NO GOD". Is this another one of those liberal Hollywood vampire movies that throws out the cross as a weapon just to be anti-christain."

He comes up with some crazy stuff.

It's funny how some people call other people's opinions "worthless" when they don't think exactly like you do, yet post on a message board where everyone gets to express their own opinions that will differ from yours.

That's classic stuff.

Because I Said So was the worst movie I saw last year. What the hell was Diane Keaton thinking? Talk about trying to kill your career.

She was in 3 movies and, I assume, got paid for all 3. She's doing better than most.

And as Rogue said...she's still cute

She will always be a favorite because of her commitment to this:

Don't forget "Awake" and "THE TEN". The only J. Alba film i saw last year was the Ten and it was horrible. I Netflixed it forgetting Jessica had a small part in it and when I saw her name I said "damnit; If Alba's in this it is going to suck".
Sure enough it did.
