In Gremlins, Mr. Futterman's standing outside the bank when Mrs. Deagle first gets there. This is just a little bit after his opening scene with Billy at home.

This might be kind of an obvious one but I never noticed it before. When Marty goes to George's house in the middle of the night and pretends to be Darth Vader he has a hair dryer stuck in his pants or attached to his belt, most likely to simulate some kind of ray gun. I believe there are 3 shots of him in that scene. In the first and third shots the hair dryer is visible but in the second shot, it disappeared.

When I watched Blazing Saddles the other day, I noticed something I hadn't before: "Hitler" in the background during the big brawl scene.

When Marty gets back to 1955 originally it takes him from dawn to get from the pine farm till what looks to be mid morning to get to the center of town (including the car breaking down and walking a good distance). At the end he thinks it only takes 10 minutes to drive from the center of town out to Twin Pines mall but seeing as he ended up having the run the distance he still does that in LESS then 10minutes. I'm not sure I just noticed it but while watching it Friday night it was very apperent to me. |

The last time i saw Drive i noticed that when Ryan Gosling is breaking into the Mustang he is wearing gloves and then a cut later when the door opens they have appeared in his back pocket. Still an amazing movie though.

That the staring-down-the-tank scene in Akira was not the allusion to the Tiananmen Square Massacre that I had always taken it as. It seemed that way because the Western home video release came out after the event (which happened on June 4 89). The Japanese theatrical release came out in 1988, and it essentially predicted what would happen in China the following year.

Watching The Crow and sorta amazed at how much The Dark Knight has from this movie. Ledger looked and sounded like Lee with a little bit more exaggerations. There the scene where Lee walks into the board room with all the criminals... similar to Joker in TDK. But the comparisons don't really end with Lee compared to the Joker, there's a lot with Batman as well. The way he disappears on people all the time. His relationship with Ernie Hudson is the nearly the same as Batman with Gordon. There's also that iconic scene where he lights the Crow symbol in fire on the ground, Batman did this in "Rises" on the bridge. There's also a scene where the main villain is holding the kid up on the roof and he drops her and she goes tumbling down the roof like Maggie did in TDK. Anyway, there's a ton of comparisons.

I thought Peter Venkman was screwing up his own ESP test just so he wouldn't have to shock the pretty student but later I noticed the test is to bring out ESP through NEGATIVE reinforcement. So he was actually a good scientist. Didn't know what the female ghost was doing to Ray until years later. Didn't realize the whole "key master" and "gate keeper" double meaning. Didn't notice Egon very subtly telling Peter howuch to charge the hotel manager. |

Speaking of The Crow, the scene where Eric kills T Bird, I didn't know that was a scene that wasn't filmed while Brandon Lee was still alive. You only see Eric's face once briefly but not in the same scene with the actor. Ironically that's one of my favorite parts in the movie.

When you see Burtons Charlie and the Chocolate Factory the factory the father works at a factory producing the toothpaste called Smilex! |

Listened to Rob Reiner's commentary for Stand By Me for the first time earlier. I've got that movie completely memorized, but I never noticed (Til Reiner pointed it out) Jerry O'Connell's radio-mic dangling out of his pants after the first train dodge.

I saw Return of the Pink Panther once in the theater and a couple times on broadcast TV. But when I watched it on DVD, I finally noticed while Sellers is questioning the beggar

I saw Christmas Vacation 1000 time and never noticed until someone pointed out to me, in WalMart when Clark and Eddie are shopping, Clark buys light bulbs then Eddie drops the dog food on them breaking them.
