I want to join in on thanking devilshalo for pointing out what the device in the shark's mouth is, I had no clue. Neat to know this.
Next, I love this thread.
I believe that I and many others mentioned this many years back, but in the early days of the El Capitan theater I remember when Disney made a big deal out of the re-release of TRON on the big screen. My brother treated me to Tron at the El Capitan and one of the things that I never noticed before (and I had seen this film many times on VHS, it got a lot of play in my household, partly because my Dad was a computer genius) is that on one of the computer screens shown in the film you see the Pac Man character opening/closing its mouth as it is ready to chomp down on pellets/ghosts, and that got a nice chuckle from the theater audience. It was my first time seeing Tron on the big screen so stuff like that became noticeable and I also came out of the film with a new appreciation of how incredible Tron is as a film.
In fact, this Tron Pac Man sighting was probably brought up in this very thread, but that is the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this thread was bumped.

That's funny, I just showed Tron to my kids yesterday and my 13 yo caught it right away. I even missed it and remember it being a lot more subtle and more of an easter egg but it was pretty obvious.

I never noticed the infamous scene in A New Hope where the stormtrooper clunks his head on the door. I think I didn't notice it until they added the sound effect. Which version was that?
I do absolutely love it that they leaned in to it and had Jango Fett do the same thing on the Slave 1 in Attack of the Clones.

Until the recent Honest Trailer, I didn't realize the school janitor is the same guy featured in the yearbook in The Breakfast Club.

Things you never noticed until a 2nd, 3rd and beyond viewing?
It’s funny, when I watch movies a second or third time I catch hints or glimpses, as mundane and irrelevant as it may be, I never realized were always there. Funny tidbits that just come to you or you see it different after your first viewing. Even after many viewings I catch things I never saw before. Happened the other day, but forgot which move, but I know I saw 3 or more times.
so what did you notice that you never noticed before when watching a movie multiple times?
I’ve seen the OT of X-Men all the time, but then I decided to do a marathon of all 7 films. The beginnings trilogy, the original trilogy and Dark Phoenix. Now, DP I’ve only saw once and thankful for it, but since I was doing the marathon, I started with the beginnings trilogy and then DP (since it fits in the timeline of beginnings. Is it considered the 4th in that series?) It really should, but I guess bc of how bad it was, it’s this separate entity in these films. I then just realized Hugh Jackman as Wolverine is the only one who was in all 7 films (most likely due to his seemingly immortality), even if it was just :30 seconds of screen time (First Class) or minutes of screen time. I love finding shit like that and find it funny the second time around. But, the only one. Great stuff.
But, I live shit like that. Finding something in movies after the first time.

Hugh Jackman wasn't in Dark Phoenix.

Yeah, no he wasn’t. This movie he was not in. Thread started on false pretenses. Close.

This doesn't count but I was watching LA LA Land and noticed that Jessica Rothe (Happy Death Day) is in it, mainly in the first part of the movie.
I really didn't know her until the Happy Death Day movies, so that's why it really doesn't count.

But he did have additional Wolverine movies-- X-men Origins: Wolverine, The Wolverine, Logan, and, of course, Deadpool and Wolverine.

I actually never noticed this connection, but certainly remember both characters. That they're both the portrayals of the same person is 🤯
