It's ok. I was there refreshing every 3-5 seconds, waiting for the variant set. Could have gotten the individuals, but wanted a matched set. Refreshing every 3-5 seconds, the first time I saw the variant set pop up, I clicked, and sold out. Ah well. Them's the breaks. I refuse to sign up for twitter just for this, so if I miss out on some, I miss out. My walls are already packed as it is anyways.

Man that drop was crazy, I tried for the variants but they were sold out in a blink of an eye. Managed to get a regular set and then all of the sudden the variant set was back in stock but I didn't realize it until too late.

Some of these people must be smoking crack if they think an addition of 850 will sell for $1200 plus via Buy It Now. Guess that makes my Moss set worth about $3K.
Yeah but Stout is kind of the all star in this market.

I'm pro-Twitter in general, but rather than go off-topic I'll just say that Mondo's Twitter feed hasn't been nearly as helpful as advertised. I see links to show what's coming up, but it's been hit-or-miss as to whether or not there's been a timely, "Going on sale now" tweet. Often, I only see a "We're sold out!" tweet after the sale. In short, if Mondo is the only thing remotely tempting to you about Twitter you can rest assured that you're not missing anything. This thread is more helpful than their Twitter feed, honestly.

It's odd being both sad I missed it and glad I didn't spend money on it at the same time.

I'll shoot for his lottery in several weeks. If that doesn't work out, I may see what the market is for them at that time and go from there.

I got a regular set but barely. Variant set never showed up for me. Kicking myself for not getting the individual Revenge.

But I feel good about getting what I did. No use crying over what I didn't.

The Moss set doesn't seem to be moving very much on eBay today. There has to be a saturation point.

I wonder if they held back some sets to sell them in the store? If they did I'd be more than happy to make it worthwhile for someone who lives close by to pick up a set and ship them to me.

That's what they Twittered! I am actually going up there today and pick up the Rob Jones. Maybe figure out if I can use left over gift cards in the store. Ugh . . . I probably have more tied up in Mondo gift cards than my wife has in her bank account right now. Perhaps next Monday or Tuesday they will put some out!

Scored one of each set. The variant "Set" did not show until about 5 minutes after everything else was sold out.

Good luck trying to score from Tyler directly. His email about these said to buy them from Mondo. He stated that mondo is selling 99.99999% of the print run due to his deal with Mondo. I think this release may have helped Mondo pay a huge chunk of the license fees to old man Lucas.

Missed it... but I'm about 98% sure I'll be able to score them locally.

With that big of a run, they should hold a few back for the locals. I know they hold a few back to replace any damaged during shipping.

Lol Thanks for letting me know. I'm not supset that I missed out, but I wish I wouldn't have been greedy and would have taken the revenge poster when I saw it in store. Ah well. Good job to all of you who did get a set/poster.

I've been collecting rock concert posters for a lot longer than I've been collecting film posters. The speed with which the Stout variant set sold out is a lot like the speed at which Emek posters sell out. Similar print runs. All I ever end up doing is refreshing till I get a link, click it, and see that it has already sold out. Cool to see Mondo growing like they are. Frustrating to have to find something else to follow until it gets too big. Ah well, such is life.

There's a free iPad/iPhone app for this book that has about a 30 photo preview for the book. On my way to amazon right now.

They do have some really nice stuff. I'd really like to pick up prints for Tommy and The Shining but my wallet has already taken a beating the past few months.
