Really? Did you need 2 posts about hating the same exact poster?

Looks like the lottery is closed. I thought it was still happening today. The 30"x40" size is pretty cool.

Yes, because it wasn't the exact same poster, there was post showing a glow in the dark version. Which didn't alter my opinion. Sorry if I hurt your feelings.

I can't stop reading this in a Jersey accent. Fantastic. Thank you for your opinion!

Unfortunately, just like every other Tyler Stout lotto, I lost. Hah.

RE: Star Trek First Contact. Never been a fan of Ken Taylor... I've always found his work to be mediocre. I could think of a lot better ways to utilize First Contact than a Borg Queen portrait.

Damn Texans, think they're better than us. Real cowboys are from Oklahoma.

Variant sold out in 3.5 minutes.

And Tyler Stout opened up the 30x40 Let the Right One In posters to anyone this morning. I sent RobLutter a message. Hopefully, he grabbed one.

Guess who got one

Just happened to check on my lunch break around 12:40 & it was available. As soon as I placed the order I checked again & it was sold out. I got lucky since I really wanted this one but wow are these tough to get (& I think it said this was limited to only 210 copies). I really want the Hoth one, but it sells for around $150 on ebay.

Just his own site. I guess the lottery winners got specific URLs, then there were about 20 of the 30x40s left so those were open to everyone for a brief time.

re: The Film Posters thread

I was tempted for 0.63 seconds... which is an eternity for me.

$200 posters are not currently in the budget. $45 I could do. Ah well, it's nothing out of the ordinary for me not get a get Stout poster. Fucks are already selling them in ebay.

Wow, there are a lot more of those on eBay then there were of the Hoth print.

Hopefully everyone loses money this time and people stop doing this.

It's RIDICULOUS. I wanted Stout's Basterds print so very bad and eBay just would not let one go below $200. Now there's a listing on there for $999

People who buy these to resell them should rest in their own layer of hell.

re: The Film Posters thread

Seems like they aren't going for much mark up on e-bay, if you can find the right auctions.
http://cgi.ebay.com/First-Contact-VA...f#ht_500wt_914
http://cgi.ebay.com/First-Contact-Ke...#ht_2494wt_754

I wonder if I snipe one low enough if the seller will send it to as a loss or try to back out of the sale. This would be a great wedding gift for one of my friends now that I think about it...

re: The Film Posters thread

Just won a one-sheet of Human Centipede signed by Director Tom Six today for $11. Don't have many posters, as I only have a Grindhouse one-sheet, Never Sleep Again Mini signed by Cast/Crew and a Chasing Amy Japanese Mini.

This will be a glad edition though. Probably will get a frame for it.

I dug the mondo version of that poster but couldn't bring myself to buy it seeing as how I haven't seen the movie yet.

Good for them, but I sure wish the Hoth poster was selling for the same.

re: The Film Posters thread

I had a poster of unconventional size and was referred by a dvdtalk member to this site for framing

http://www.hollywoodposterframes.com/

If you call them they are very friendly and can cut a frame to any size.
