Has anyone heard anything about this?
My roommate stumbled upon this and I was pretty much paralyzed by the trailer.

Hopefully it'll be better than Yo-Yo Girl.

Yeah, that looks pretty terrible.
I'm hoping "Machine Girl" might be enjoyable in a good/bad way. Or something. But I usually hate all of those films that kind of come off as live-action anime. The kind that love bullet time, bad special effects and overacting.

It'll need Fudoh-esque vaginal blowdarts to achieve that.

All it has to do is say, "directed by Quentin Tarantino" and people will say how brilliant this movie is.

Xploited seems to already have it. They've actually had it a couple times in the last week or so, but have sold out really quickly.

I'm interested in how good it is too. Then again the trailer was pretty rad and I was completely sold on buying this movie soon.

It looks like a psychotic mix between Planet Terror, Kill Bill, and The Power Rangers...

I'll be buying it.

Just finished watching the movie.

Fun. Cheesy. Bloody. Gory. The trailer was spot on, this movie was a blast to watch. I actually enjoyed the extremely cartoon-like nature of some of the death scenes and the entire feel of the movie. A movie like this definitely benefited from this, as opposed to being a completely seriously toned "revenge" flick.

My only complaint was that the movie did drag a bit. That might have been due to the fact that I was waiting all the "infamous" death scenes throughout the movie

The FX are fun. They are sort of all over the place but get the job done. It's a mix of make-up FX, prosthetics and random CGI. Lots of spraying geysers of blood throughout the movie.

Definitely worth the $15 I paid for it. I hope everyone enjoys it!

Interesting since the listed ship date everywhere else is next Tuesday. I've been looking forward to it since Twitch started pimping it last year - and I'd love to get a full poster. I've had the AFM poster up as my desktop for months now.

You might as well go ahead and pick up Meatball Machine as well though since that one's already out - same creative team.

Tokyo Gore Police looks really fun. Might have to pick that one up if it hits DVD soon. Looks even more odd/weird and bloody than Machine Girl was

Probably going to order Meatball Machine at work in the next couple weeks.

I have a feeling Meatball Machine won't even be invited to hold Tokyo Gore Police's candle! Love the homage paid out to the "Reject or Death" short already!!

Here's a second and longer clip of TGP ...

http://link.brightcove.com/services/...ctid1485881525 (any help on embedding this clip appreciated )

TGP looks beyond insane - taking the best elements from Meatball Machine, Reject or Death and a better looking Sexual Parasite!! Crazy stuff. The quad-katana limbed beast - phenomenal possibilities!! I may have to take a ride to NYAFF just to see this ..

Just ordered it myself. Sounded to good to pass up. Have "Meatball Machine", but haven't watched it yet. Maybe I'll make it a double feature.

Well Meatball Machine did come out a few years ago now so Machine Girl is the next step with the same team, followed by TGP...it's a progression of splatter.

Presumably this is the clip Visitor Q posted:

Now I don't know if it's higher production values or maybe it's harder for me to recognize bad acting in Japanese, but I can really get into these sorts of films where Troma productions really turn me off.

Wal-Mart did have it in their new releases aisle.

$11.97!

Once I clean up my house, this is going right in!
